I have a theory i remember dazz saying that olimar was coming back referring to the end cut scene of the credits my theory is that is olimar before he knew about pikmin and side story is not canon that olimar landed in a region with moss and because he crashed in a different place the goolix evolved into the foolix its hard to explain anyways it explains why there are dogs and why no-one remembers anything but what do you think

louie is the only person in the pikmin series who has eaten creatures, hocotations are vegetarian and koppaites drink juice/eat fruit, but louie is the only one who has canonically eaten meat, which leads me to believe that louie is partially human, since he can stomach the creatures on earth. plus he refers to fruits by their actual name and not by the name given by the ai that examines these items (he calls an avocado an avocado instead of a scaly custard for example). another theory is that louie has possibly snuck off to earth more than anyone realized, or when he was stranded and left alone during the three adventures he was on earth, and during that time he learned more about earths culture, and more about what society used to be like, and that eating meat is actually delicious.

In the opposite versions, the other professor (example: sada in violet and turo in scarlet) is alive(so if your in violet, sada is alive, if you play scarlet, turo is alive). This is what i think of, when you union circle with someone from your opposite version, you can catch the future and past paradox pokemon, like the original professor is using the time machine to summon the paradoxes.(sorry if this was too much lol)
